Think Onna Initiative visits the orphanage home to celebrate yuletide with the less privileged



It was a remarkable moment for the motherless children at the orphanage home Mkpok in Onna Local government of Akwa Ibom state, as a community advancement group, Think Onna Initiative visits the home to celebrate yuletide with the less privileged.

Think Onna Initiative is a non governmental organization with membership predominantly young teaming Onna indigenes around the globe, committed to selflessly re-enforcing capacity development thus; eradicating poverty and improving standard of living within Onna Local Government Area and beyond.

As part of her humanitarian activities, the group on friday December 30th, 2016 visited the largest motherless home in Onna L.G.A. with lots of gift items and cash donation.



Speaking on behalf of the team, the international coordinator, Rtr. Jerry Williams made it known that the group is not a political group but rather a selfless community development group. He however applauded the management of the orphanage for relentlessly taking proper care of the children in spite of the current economic situation in the country and urges them to continue in their good deeds as God will reward accordingly.

He also encouraged the kids not to lose sight of their future as nothing can stop them from achieving their dreams.



Responding on behalf of the management Mrs Tonia Joseph, (matron in charge) expressed her appreciation and thanked the group for her kind gesture, adding that God will continually bless and provide for them in time of need. Also in the team was Lagos state Chapter coordinator Mr. Friday Akpan, Rivers State coordinator Mr. Thomas Monday, chief press secretary, Mr. Moses ekpo et al.

However, the group also acknowledged the commitments and supports from the United States  of America chapter, with specific references to Mr. Maurice Johnson and Justice Akpan. Lagos state chapter, River state Chapter as well as ONNA chapter.
